Military-Veteran Resource Navigation Training

AZ’s Be Connected program links Arizona service members, Veterans, families, and helpers to information, support, and resources. The program is an initiative of the Arizona Coalition for Military Families, and a comprehensive direct service and education program providing access to support and resources throughout AZ.

Each provider has a role in connecting service members, Veterans and their families to supports and resources. To help equip our provider network with the knowledge, skills to help and increase cultural competency the AZ Be Connected program is offering the trainings below at no cost.

  2. Military/Veteran Culture
  3. How to use the Resource Connection Guide
  4. Key factors that may affect a person or family’s access to resources
  5. Navigation strategies
  6. How to link into the military and veteran community to find resources available to address a range of issues, including:
  • Employment
  • Family Issues
  • Finances
  • Higher Education
  • Housing and Homelessness
  • Legal
  • Mental Health
  • Physical Health
  • Spirituality
